Welcome to Joy Builds Cities, I'm Joy! This is a cozy gaming channel focused on creating people-first cities in the original City Skylines and Town to City!

I build walkable neighborhoods that prioritize public parks, affordable housing, bike paths, and public transit. I like to keep everything within a 15-minute walk, ride, or transit trip. If you love relaxing city builders, slow gaming, or urban design with heart, you’ll feel right at home here.

Why I Started This Channel

After discovering City Planner Plays and Overcharged Egg, I was hooked on Cities Skylines, but I noticed there were hardly any female builders. So in summer 2021, I started this channel to share my peaceful builds and encourage other women to find their voice in this cozy little gaming world.
